From transmission to direction:
My journey

I am a French photographer and visual artist.

Initially expressing myself through painting and sculpture, in 2012 I turned to photography and explored mediums such as Polaroid and alternative techniques.

In 2019, I participated in the Milk Masterclass (a year-long training course developing the approach to narrative series and photographic identity) led by Ljubisa Danilovic and Sabrina Biancuzzi and sponsored by Julien Magre.

The work done during this training resulted in his series "Apparitions" published in 2022 by Bessard publishers.

In 2023, I took over the management of Studio Baxton in Brussels, specializing in wet collodion photography and historical processes, as well as the Baxton Gallery which offers 6 exhibitions per year. (among the artists exhibited: Bernard Plossu, Dolorès Marat, Julien Magre, Gael Bonnefon).

My path in photography is not just one of personal practice, it is one of sharing.

Before taking over the management of Studio Baxton in 2023, I dedicated a significant amount of time to sharing my passion:

  • Since 2015 I have led training sessions on creative photography (mainly within the French Federation of Photography), I have enjoyed helping photographers move beyond technical concepts to give free rein to their creativity.

  • Director of Studio Baxton: Since 2023, I have been managing this iconic place dedicated to images, while continuing to train photographers on photographic processes (Collodion, Silver Gelatin Printing, Cyanotype, Polaroid...)

Why urban photography?

Simply because the city is a permanent theatre.

Between the rigor of architecture and the unpredictability of street photography, it offers an infinite playground for those who know how to observe.

"Photographing the city is not about capturing walls, it's about capturing the soul of a space and the geometry of the emotions that intersect there."

My teaching approach is based on a simple balance: technique in the service of emotion.

I don't just teach you how to adjust your aperture, I help you find your visual signature in the urban chaos.

What I propose

Through my training programs, I put my expertise and artistic vision at your disposal.

Whether you're a beginner looking to move beyond "Auto" mode or an experienced photographer seeking a new creative spark, my modules are designed to be:

  • Practical exercises: Field trips to confront the reality of the street.

  • Creative: Exercises to deconstruct your visual habits.

  • Supportive: Personalized guidance to progress at your own pace.
