Urban photography workshop
Brussels Minimal

Architecture & Author's Perspective

From June 19 to 21, 2026

Immerse yourself in the heart of Brussels for an intensive 3-day photography workshop dedicated to minimalist architecture and developing your artistic vision.

Between contemporary lines, iconic structures and urban contrasts, this internship invites you to explore a surprisingly graphic city, where modernity and architectural heritage coexist with elegance.

From the Atomium to the facades of the European Quarter, via the rehabilitated industrial volumes of Tour & Taxis, Brussels becomes a real playground for learning to simplify, compose and assert a strong photographic vision.

Here are some examples of photos taken with different devices: digital, film, and smartphone.

Why this internship is unique

Brussels offers a rare mix of contemporary and historical architecture, ideal for working with minimalist visual writing.

The city is compact, accessible on foot, and bathed in a particularly interesting light in June — perfect for precise work on shapes, textures and contrasts.

This internship was designed as a complete immersion, alternating between field shooting and analysis time to progress quickly and in depth.

The places explored

During these 3 days, you will photograph some of the most inspiring spots in the capital:

  • European Quarter & Leopold Park — modern lines and clean compositions

  • Tour & Taxis — a dialogue between industrial and contemporary architecture

  • Atomium & Laeken Park — iconic structures and strong geometry

  • Wiels & Canal District — Graphic Minimalism and Natural Light

  • Northern Quarter — verticality, volumes and urban abstraction

The program

Work on pure lines, clean compositions and architectural abstraction.
Exploration of black and white, simple shapes and limited palettes.

Day 2 — Iconic Architecture & Abstraction
